RE: To report, or not to report. That's the question! ~Umberto Nongeroson 30.Dec.03 11:48 PM a Web browser Applications Development 6.5Windows 2000
If you know of an "outstanding/known bugs" list I want to see it! As far as how to get good support It's pretty simple:
(1) "Help" -> "Lotus Internet Resources" -> "Lotus Customer Support".
(2) You're now at the IBM Lotus Support website. Click "How to buy software support" in the light-blue area on the left.
(3) Follow the instructions.
If you're still stuck, call 1-800-IBM-4YOU where a person (!) will answer your call and direct you to people who can help you with the process.
After you've got your support all set-up, submitting a problem is trivial. Go back to the website and click "Submit & Track Problems". Click the "ESR" link in the middle of the page and log in. It's pretty self-explanatory after that.
Note that this approach involves that you pay yearly or bi-yearly for the software for which you want support. I would strongly recommend it -- IBM is the mega-king of support, and if you've got a reproducible bug it will get escalated to development pretty quickly and an SPR will be made.
